I believe we also need to pay attention to the lack of empathy - the birth situation of a small minority of people - and destructive impact of this small minority on society. Read Political Ponerology, for instance.

But Kissinger and Munger made it to 100! Soros in his late 80s, Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates seem in good health and spirits.....

Dennis Prager believes people are not inherently good and they must battle their evil impulses.

There's that other variable regarding longevity - meaning and purpose versus a subjective perception of own irrelevance. The latter is associated with imminent demise.

Yes like Viktor Frankl remarked. Those who survived the camps kept meaning and purpose.

Kissinger and his ilk always thought of himself as very very important, more important than others. It makes sense now, no matter how destructive man’s actions are objectively, the determining factor is how he sees himself.
