Unfortunately as you say the Golden Rule of “primum non nocere”, first do no harm - the cornerstone of medical ethics." has been sidelined for the sake of the almighty dollar not just in this instance, but this "cornerstone" seems to be falling by the wayside of virtually all aspects of modern medicine. Thanks Randy. Indeed - as I've alluded to here and in previous posts, my profession is becoming somewhat of an embarrassment.
Way more than this - look at the medical profession.
Also people have responsibility - even when hungry for help.
